Professional Experience
Throughout my career, I've had the honor of collaborating with esteemed brands and talented teams, leaving my unique imprint on their collections. This page showcases the projects where my design sensibilities and expertise have melded seamlessly with the visions of these companies. Dive in to explore the distinctive pieces and collections I've had the privilege of shaping during these enriching partnerships.
Free People - Slips
My journey with Free People began in the realm of slips. Drawing inspiration from both vintage silhouettes and modern trends, I designed and developed 12 distinct collections that encapsulate the brand's free-spirited ethos. Each piece was meticulously crafted, keeping in mind the five customer archetypes, ensuring every slip resonated with the diverse and dynamic Free People audience.
Free People - Foundations
Transitioning to foundations, I embraced the challenge of merging comfort with the brand's signature bohemian aesthetic. Over 12 collections, I focused on fit, form, and function, tailoring each design to the unique needs and desires of our five customer archetypes. The result was a range of foundational garments that not only looked exquisite but also catered to the varied lifestyles and preferences of the Free People community.
Jenny Yoo Collection
I had the privilege of contributing to the design of Jenny Yoo Collection's Spring 2019 bridal line. I embarked on a journey of trend research, drawing inspiration from global runways and leveraging trend forecasting services to ensure our designs were both timeless and contemporary. My role was multifaceted: from conceptualizing designs that captured the essence of modern romance to hands-on draping and sewing of prototypes. Each gown was a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, blending tradition with forward-thinking design, ensuring every bride felt both classic and uniquely herself.
